My PM
Do you also have the brackets that bolt this generator to the engine?
So (and others may help here), all I need to attach this generator to my 4BD1T is included?
If that is the case, yep, I'll buy it.
regards
Mick

OK, Mick - you should also be supplied with the tensioner and it's fittings for the drive belts that run off the crankshaft pulley
-
Unless, of course, the seller may be keeping the fittings for an a/c installation

Got that.
So, how do the rings attach? Both to the generator and the vehicle?

Mick,
they simply slip onto the generator, but there is also a bracket that they attach too that fixes it to the block - I'll get a photo pf mine tomorrow,

Isn't the bracket the LHS Engine Mount?
The rings that wrap around the Genny have flat tabs on the side closest to the engine. These are fitted to the sides of the LH engine mounting bracket.
The tensioner bolts to the front of the engine block and is spring loaded to open out and apply tension to the belts.

Yep.
I don't have this bracket:

So, I'll be needing it too.
