This document, dated 1972, lists all units to partisipate in SVN from date 31 July 1962.

How does it compare to the list in the appendix of the Official History?

I stumbled across these documents buried deep in cyberspace somewhere. If I remember correctly Richard, these were the only documents posted up on the page.

There are a number of discrepancies... and the Official List is thorough - it includes RAN and RAAF units on the ground in SVN. RAN on the river patrols and at Vungers. RAAF units that worked in with Army Avn etc.

I have researched the Allocation dates in a quest to tie down the vehicle shipping dates seen so far, so I can check any details on files pointing to specific units who used the vehicles. Most veh docs do not mention a specific unit, but some do (in the shipping files on the Sydney and Jeparit cargo files seen so far). So the official list has been a big help.
