Earlier this month at Corowa I was invited to the Ho Hars camp about the 2nd day. I went down the opposite end of the Caravan Park (beside the river) but no 101FCs were there. I asked another camper at his caravan door if he had seen any Forward Control Landys? No. We chatted and I am glad we did. He said he had served in RAEME in SVN and he had recently sent some photos to the AWM... since I lived in Canberra, could I check they had got them?

The answer is yes, they have his photos.

Training, early 67, beach near Southport.

Who was the hot blonde?

She won a competition to have a visit to 1ATF and go around the world: "Queensland's Returned Services League (RSL) 'Girl in a Million', Katrina Chijoff standing in cleared area of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat. Katrina visited the base with her sister Lana as part of her world tour, won during the 'Girl in a Million' competition."

Well thats an unexpected bonus for sure. He certainly looks very young.
Also of note is that the building inside the fences in the background is the 1ATF HQ Nui Dat.

As for the flags, I think it would be NZ, Aust, USA, SVN.
