This morning we took 3 x Series 2A 88"GS Land Rovers to the National Tractor Trek in Dungog, New South Wales.
The weather wasn't kind as there was a thick fog visibility was down to less than 25<>30 meters, it took around 1 3/4hrs to travel the 53 miles.
On arrival around 0905hrs, Dungog was alive to the sounds and smell of Steam engines, there were 2 old timers, an Aveling & Porter road roller and a Fowler traction engine, here is an image of the Aveling & Porter

that's my mate Gordon on the left, he drove one of my L/R's and the good wife drove another.
Here is a quick shot of the start of the parade, it took approx. 45 minutes to do the circuit up n down Dowling Street 3 blocks long

the car behind the Fowler is a 'Stanley Steamer' 1920's model, very nicely restored and LH drive
This was also an interesting vehicle no it's not a 101 (LOL) it is an International Harvester, I had never seen one before

Some-one bought this WW2 Chev along unrestored, all complete apart from the tray, shame it isn't mine

The weather after we cleared the fog, the sun shone down with avengence, it was 32c and damn hot just standing around fielding questions
and keep some people off your vehicles, some people are just downright rude/selfish B's.
Around 1400hrs I decided that we had better make tracks for home, here is my good wife in 112-501

arriving home around 1530hrs and after a quick cool drink of cold water, I had them all tucked away except 112-501 (it is covered now)
