Hi all
Through a number of coincidences I have come to own a 1966 Series 11a 109 GS. The vehicle is in fairly good condition considering its' age, but has rust in all the usual landrover places i.e. doors, rear crossmember and bulkhead. The bulkhead is very bad and I think will require removal to determine the full extent of the rust.
From reading on the website I think the vehicle still has the majority of original features. The dual pulleys are still on the water pump and crank pulleys. The blackout lights are still on the dash and under the rear crossmember and the nato plug is still in the rear crossmember. The tool brackets are still on the vehicle but are very rusty.
I have no idea of the history of the vehicle and neither did the previous owner, though he did think it had been in parades at some point in its' life.
If anyone could shed any light on the history of the vehicle I would greatly appreciate it. The chassis number is 25312721B.

The aim at the moment is get the vehicle roadworthy and registered.

Your Landy ARN 113-837 is next to ARN 113-836, also a Workshop, which is here in the ACT area somewhere and belongs to Ian (REMLR member 191).

Ian Patrick, he's in tasmania now ;)
So it looks like your workshop tray was removed and replaced with a regular tub.

I have always hankered after a workshop too!
It will stay as it is however, it suits my needs better in this format. One day I might look at getting a workshop but at the moment I have my hands (and garage) full!
Cheers, Martin
