Title: 113-852 AWM exhibit in UN white (UNTAG)

Today at the AWM I took a closer look at 113-852..

... and noted it had H4 headlights...

...and something ??? maybe coax hooked up to a bracket beside the passenger door mirror. What is that, or what is it the remains of? The cable continues up the windscreen, over the sharks teeth and into the cabin (goes under the canvas). IMHO the cable etc was painted at the same time as the whole vehicle; I don't think it was fitted once 'in country'.

Looks like the base for a broadcast radio receiver antenna, the type usually mounted on cars on the front of the roof above the screen.

I hope to get more info on this vehicle, from one of the mechanics who worked out of her in Namibia, when I catch up with him in the near future.
