Title: Halfinger looking for a Museum.
Post by: 101847 on June 07, 2012, 08:29:14 PM
Hello everyone,

I'm at the end of my Australian Army Haflinger rebuild and am looking at heading overseas of an extended and unknown period of time and would like to put the Haflinger in a museum for the time I'm away.

I'm hope the Haflinger is of interest to others and I don't want it locked up in the garage for the time I'm away.
Would anyone have any idea/suggestions or contacts that would help me find a place to display it while I'm gone.

Thanks for your help,
Markus

I can suggest a couple of places, others may know more.  Bandiana may take it as a long term load, but they do have some haflingers of their own.

THe motor museum at birdswood is possibly another option.  Others I am sure will know of some closer to home though.  Ok, SA Military Vehicle museum run by the local club may be a third option.

Powerhouse Museum Sydney, or Holdsworthy Army has a museum, Diana Alan, as she is involved with an Army Museum in Sydeny that may take it as a loan display vehicle  ;)
