I saw that as well, does look like 29-997 but doesn't add up with register....

Could still be 29-997, maybe about to go through workshops, depends on when the pic was taken, if its at auction then probably not!.
I know of a Army series 3 that was submersed in the early 80's in salt water then left for several months, it was then sent for overhaul to an outside contractor, just about everything had to be replaced, the bill ran into the thousands.

Wonder if it is the same vehicle, could be. Fuel tank doesn't look like a STD one though.
