http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1975-109-Land-Rover-REDWING-FT-6-FIRE-ENGINE-/251074372942?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item3a7532e54e#ht_611wt_922

Have a read at this one, seems very odd to me, I reckon he's not got a import permit.

And this has been on eBay uk on and off for over a year, never sold. But its price then was 2000 pounds.

Needs a lot of money spending on it.

Needs a lot of. Only spending on it.

Sounds like it is still on the water.

It's been imported from UK and arriving in Melbourne port.

The buyer is required to pay and pick up from depot immediately after the auction end. Otherwise the buyer would be responsible for the storage charges.

Dodgy  :-[. So the buyer has to purchase the vehicle sight unseen (apart from some pix taken in England) and then immediately pick it up from the docks. Probably get lumped with all sorts of taxes and charges.

Could be legit but we will have to wait and see.

BTW, check out the sellers feedback  :(

G'day Juddy  :)

A quick call to Customs in Melbourne will give you the import status, and they will possibly be able to give you the import agents who freighted it in, and probably it will need cleaning, and the costs of it, whch you will be well aware of  ;)  6 cylinder?? I thought they were only made as 2.25 litre 4cylinder.

cheers
