Not owned by me, nor anyone I know... but posted at my work so I figure its worth putting on here.

Here is the details
1963 Land Rover Series IIA
Year 6/63
Army issue - Original condition
88” (short) wheel base - 4wd
2.3lt 4 cylinder petrol engine
4 speed gear box with high/low range
Engine starts runs well
100% Complete - Restore(r)s delight.
75000 miles (original)
$2200 (location Dubbo NSW)

My comments. 80% complete but looks ok.  You will have to ask him to email pictures.
No tool brackets, No pintle, no bumperettes , no brush guard, but maybe the owner still has them.
At some time someone has put a hard top on it, so maybe the firewall is good.

If you want an SWB this might be 'the one'

And my 112-723 is also 6/1963,

Perhaps the 6/63 is the contract date, like the command recon SII were all December 1958 but all 1959 models.

Yes, Diana you're right.

If I had said 112*** I might have been more correct.

Good luck to the buyer. After all the kerfuffle over people wanting an 88" I am perplexed :o Maybe desire outstrips demand.

Has any one looked at this one? is it any good?
the price seems to go up and down more random than petrol prices
