Is that one still around.  We never worked out why tat was done and by whom.  maybe for a movie?

But as far as we know, not an army or land rover mod.

Would be good if you could get some more info and pics of it if you run into him again. The other thread on the old remlr never got very far either :)

I thought the (civilian) mod was done to improve the aerodynamics for better long distance fuel economy. As you are well aware, the bloodbox has an aerodynamic efficiency of zero  :P.
