Picked up these "Chairs millionaires" and table at this weekend's 'Rocky Swap'. The chap was actually using them, and they weren't up for sale. I bought a Series 2 tool roll from him and noticed the chairs. After a bit of haggling, they were mine (you don't ask, you don't get). The table is apparently ex ADF as well. Does anyone here have any photos of them, in particular the opening instructions stencil underneath, as I want to return it to its original condition

Underside view. I'd like to find a copy of the instructions stencil

Thanks Mick, it's a rather large stencil isn't it. No excuses for getting it wrong. Do you know the age and any history of these tables? Cheers
-
Hi Mike,
I don't know when they first saw service but I know they have been around at least 40 years 🤔
I'm sure some of our Vietnam era vets could give us more idea ?
Cheers,
Mick

been replaced by furniture from bunnings as they are a DUP item now
-
What does "DUP Item" mean?
-
7105-66-019-3637
Original army name "Table FS 6 foot"
In service name prior to 1972.
Hope that's helpful in case you need to order one from the "Q" store
-
What does "DUP Item" mean?
Direct Unit Purchase... ie, the Unit makes the purchase with its Govt Credit card and doesn't order the item via the logistics system
-
...sounds like how it's done at my place :D, but sadly, the credit card is not a government item
-
I never was a blanket counter but I think DUP means Direct Unit Purchase meaning units go off and shop around for they're camping gear now.
Note: I could be wrong 🤔
Cheers,
Mick

FS = Field Service
Had a couple of those tables, used them for years on field work as well as a couple of Chairs, Millionaire. Mine came from a disposals warehouse in the Sydney area in the late 80s. Just THE best. Were they really 6 foot long? I would have said about 4 foot, but it is a long time ago and the memory ain't what it used to be!
