Scott

There is a very good example of a buggy in private hands in Vic, surely that would be closer?

There is a little artistic licence with the smoke dischargers etc but a very well presented item never the less.

A question on 112-726, if the vehicle was allocated to 2AOD in SVN, what tac would it have worn?

Gday Jack, not totally convinced my Perentie is ex air forceARN 230059, however it does seem happier enjoying the comforts rather than roughing it. John

Absolutely, everything at the Museum is being packed, the project officer is on site 5 days/week.

Most of the vehicles and spares are going into storage at Bandiana, some items are being transferred to other Army Museums and the rest to scrap or landfill.  Some museum items will be going to auction, however it seems there are problems with this process because much of it is already off the DMO inventory.

Gday CHIEF, I am rapt that you could identify my Perentie230059 and would appreciate any info or pics. She has 57451 on the odometer and is in very good mech condition. The only faults are the heater fan is seized and the tarp although ingood nick leaks water. Once I find the right product to seal the canvas she will be fully efficeint. Thanks for the info so far . John

Just looked at the ad, the lathe is the one we have been using in the museum, works well but requires 3 phase power.  Just the thing to park next to your shed.

The photo is taken inside the museum workshop, it's sad to see it so empty without the projects happening.

So the auctions off to a quick start

People seem to be 'standard bid' not auto bidding though, 5 minutes after the start and a bmw has $3000 on it, the rest at $300..

Hi All
I found this interesting one over in the Perth Auction. Anyone know what the unit on the dash is? I thought it may be a head unit for a HF radio but there doesn't seem to be enough buttons or plugs maybe a gps unit.
Cheers
Rod
