As someone who is occasionally known to miss the bleeding obvious, can the rationale behind the THANK button be explained to me :-[

The Thanks button looks good but its lead to unintended consequences.  :'( People get ideas. My nerdy son copied the Thank You Button idea for domestic application and now I have a Thank you Button for my wife. Big problems! If it doesn't go up every weekend she gets very quiet for 2 or 3 days and I have to watch what goes in my food. He's can't take it away either, she watches it like a hawk. Problems.
But he's moved on with the idea already - had a brain wave and he's currently working on a No Thanks Button for supervisors and foreman at work, bank tellers, the ladies at the Motor Registry Offices, parking police, politicians, and real estate agents.

I guess its just a way for people to show that your post was helpful in some way to them.
In my thread about my truck, if someone posts something that I find useful or helpful, I click the "Thank" thing on their post. (The thing I circled in red in my last post here in this thread.)
This only makes their Thanks count go up by one, and even if they don't notice, I know I thanked them for their contribution that helped me.
This is also why you don't have a "Thank" button on your own posts. :)

On other forums and things like Facebook, (which I refuse to use), they have a "Like" button or option which then shows exactly who "likes" the post. I prefer our system. If you have a "like" option that lists people for all to see, I want a "dislike" or "total cr*p" option.  ;D

The system does allow a dislike button (the plugin is actually called Karma) but I figured nothing was gained by people being able to give strikes against other people, and i've seen that abused on other forums too.

Curious about GGG not being able to see the thanks button when others can, Very curious.  I know yo aren't worried, but it is puzzling.  Which browser are you using?  Possibly a javascript issue on your browser??  not sure.

Not really a suggestion but the image of a Mk3 on the REMLR website is reversed.  unless they were also made in LHD with the spare behind the passenger seat.

Should the in service photos of International Mk3 and F2 http://remlr.com/forum/index.php?topic=4286.0 be somewhere other than the Mk1 and Mk2 section?
