TONA IMOA Loom kits w relays have been superseded with this $30.oo fix for dim lights and burnt switch gear and at the same time be happy working with the stock system.

An example -  https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/9003-H4-HB2-CSP-LED-Headlight-Conversion-Kit-Bulbs-High-Low-Beam-for-Ford-Falcon/163165004387?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 3 year warranty, pulls only 20W ( you can get brighter and so attract more attention. I'm in a city so 20W is fine) so you will never burn switchgear. These ones in particular wont tick others off on the road being only 20W. and a clear white light. I passed a roadworthy with them in they didn't get a mention. I day run with lights on for over 2 years now without a problem and maintain above 14 Volts on the volt meter with high beam on. ;).

They are just plug and play. You don't need the ones with resistor/ballast as the Land Rover has a "dumb" system and wont be tricked into thinking the globe has blown.

But be carful with what you select w LED's as there isn't much room in the headlight bowl so check the length before you buy.

Cheers Phil

I'd still put in ceramic pugs those steel bowls wont cool internally. Last time I looked they are unavailable in steel and only made in plastic now ??? Not sure how they are going to stand the test of time?

Reconditioned the bowls new lens and a LED globe. Happy days or should I say nights ;D

$$s depend on where you buy 'em, the set (2) from a local electrical supplier was $165.

e.g. https://www.automegastore.com.au/narva-h4-headlight-12-24v-led-conversion-kit-18004?gclid=Cj0KCQjwk_TbBRDsARIsAALJSOZrqSmYd-yb3_2r_9ZhuULR6V0eCG8kKQgOesdYLsfoh4gBZ8-i_XUaAlc1EALw_wcB

regards, Lionel :)
Interesting. Are they ADR compliant?
Being from Narva, if they are not, there will be a warning on the packaging stating they are not for road use or something similar. If they do not have such a warning, they'd be an excellent upgrade.
