    COULD some one out there give me a complete circuit for the edit motor on a rfsv please,thanks ,TONA,.  B,,,,, thing is starting to play up, may be time to remove it completely?,TONA.

If compliance is an issue, removal and replacement with a pull stop would not be approved over here on annual rego inspection (just posted also re the D1 rims).

But it may get past an uneducated inspector - they can only tell you to refit it

If no one else posts the wiring today I'll look up a copy when I get back and post it.

These motors can and do get a fair bit of rust in them, this is a mates one that I'm currently taking apart and rebuilding for him.

Also, the same edic motor is available to buy, but in a 24volt version.
It uses a slightly different cable, but you take it off and use the standard Perentie one.
The 12 volt versions are (as far as I'm aware) unavailable at the moment.

Part numbers for the 24volt one are Jideco MK294 & 5-81900-008-01.

The motors are very similar to the ones found in some Disco sunroof mechanisms & some electric window winders & smaller windscreen wipers.

Easy to recondition. Internal rust shorting inside. Sometimes it will work after a some firm taps with a hammer to dislodge the shorting crud. Mine had a short from sitting around. Dismantled it cleaned it, treated and sealed metal surfaces with motor varnish. All good. Good luck. Don't forget to bench test it as you assemble it.

    HELLO fellow members, started to pull edic checked it out to make sure it was faulty guess what no power going in to it  checked power coming out of immobiliser no power coming out , thats it remove immobiliser  completely ,re connect wires to sign switch turn on sign switch edic motor goes on and off, reassemble the whole thing and have had no trouble since so far, we wills hong this lot lasts , thanks for everybody's assistance and pics and things ,cheers for now ,TONA 51 590.

Switch the globes first, not working still then check the earth next. Still nothing, run a wire from the + on your battery to light the globe then start checking it all off working backwards along the entire wire loom at the connection points including the switch points if you don't have a meter. Same can be done with a meter. Just a thought

My lights switched on but were very weak. I removed the headlight for a look/check and had to fix the connector which had been melted and exposed wires corroded away within an inch of its life. Cheap fix using ceramic connectors $2 each on feebay. Lights were back to Lucas H4 mediocrity after that.

Ross, you can buy reasonable quality pre-wired H4 connectors marketed by Narva.

I fitted this Narva LED conversion set      https://www.narva.com.au/products/18004 - it improved the headlights out of sight

I have otherwise done a similar relay addition as described by Dervish, but if I ever did another I would use this Narva 18004 conversion kit
