Thanks for that. I have added that to the unit history for the trailer

Not a vehicle marking but a unit Christmas tree for 18 FD SQN (Light) based in Townsville circular 1981.

18 FD SQN (Light) was born out of 3 Field Engineer Regiment (Black Ducks) which shut shop in Jan 1981.

My wife found my old echie bag with the Christmas Tree last weekend.

Brought back memories.

A RAEME 6x6 GMV is up for auction right now with bench and drawer markings for reference... and another has a Sqn marking on the door.

Looking at the bottom right hand drawer I am pleased to see that they had their priorities right.

On my 1965 workshop truck I discovered under many layers of paint, a Rino head silhouette low down on the mudguards sides.
Would the Rino head indicate Armor?
