WANTED : GS 88 *Found one*
« on: September 07, 2016, 10:59:01 AM »
I have my feelers out locally but with a lot of the old guard trading up to Perenties I was wondering if there were any 2a 88" GS's up for sale.
I would coincider swapping my 107 (not military) stn wagon for the right 2a 88"

Knowing the popularity of both, what else will you add to the trade?
That SWB 2a at Toolern Vale made $6k or $7k on ebay. Unrestored and with a dead motor.

107 is the 2nd most desirable series 1 after a 48' 80" so I recon anyone with seized donk 88 Gs  will be giving me some  cash too! ;D
Mate just Ebayed his for $9k+
We all know how subjective the price of a Landy is so I'll deal with the nitty gritties when the time comes.
I'll probably find another Gun Buggy next week anyway... :0P

Are you willing to part with just the 107 wagon for cash?

I am loathed to send vehicles interstate or overseas but after trying to help local enthusists by selling cheap only to have them flip the car for profit I dont care where they go now.
I got to drive a Mates 86 inchSeries one the other day And I realise That I cannot operate the pedals for extended periods hence I am going back to a 2a

Hi Cliffy
The photos give a very good impression of originality inside and out.
Maybe a bit pricey, but they're not getting any cheaper and hard to find now.
Good luck!

That's right.
Hard to find original straight units.
Well I have to get the 107 WGN out for some pics....

If I were younger (and still working) and lived closer your needs and mine would have been met by now as I have a soft spot for the 107 'Meccano set', here's hoping you get something soon cheers Dennis  :)
