Title: SRV SF Tailgate build
Post by: mac101 on April 05, 2021, 02:31:12 AM
Hi All,
I have hunted around REMLR website for diagrams or a CAD drawing for the SRV SF tailgate and haven't had much luck.  Can someone help me with more information on the tailgate?

Thank you,
Mac

Hi Mick, looks so good.

Those bolt holes drilled for mounting "the hinges" for the tailgate are in a line with the airlift lash point welding.. is that where the originals are located? Scott may have worked from drawings. Hmm.

Scott posted photos about the tailgate build 5 years ago I think. Should find them.

I see the insertion rubber pads for the airlift point has worn through in that photo.

Thank you Scott,
Great looking puppy.

Could you put post a photo of measuring tape on a tailgate handle?

Cheers,
Mac

Come on Scott,

This is an ex army Land Rover site. :)

She's a gorgeous girl and that's a big rabbit . How tall was the bloke that shot him?

Cheers mate,

Mick

Handle? Do you mean the foot steps?

Sorry Sir,

But if it's an 'ex' Army land rover site then the SRV SFs or now called SFPV is still in service.........

Thank you Scott,

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those steps on the internet some where.

They’re just bent up tubing welded onto the tailgate frame, they’re not a seperate step.
I think I have a few pics of an SF-PV with different design step loops, possibly replacements for damaged ones it not 100% sure.

You're right, the photos on REMLR website show a different style of step loops.  One with 90 degree bend rather than the 45 degree bend.
