Now there is a practical REMLR membership attraction! :)
(Increase the membership application fee and include a FY calendar with every new membership)
I'd buy one.

I love the Perentie w. cab; is that the one that was the SRV replica?

Yeah turned into "civvi"vehicle but can be swapped back for displays etc
It is my farm ute from day to day. Have put PAS in it, Mantec snorkel, truck can top and plan to turbo it. Next a set of boost alloys!

Thanks Scott. I have seen these plates on many military vehicles and wondered what they were. Historic licence...what restrictions does this category have on it.

Hi Tommy
Must be a member of a car club that participates in VicRoads permit scheme. Car needs RWC then can get a 45 day or 90 day permit ( number of days you can drive not timeframe) approx $70 or $125 per year. Can drive anytime , don't need a club sponsored event.

That sounds like a great scheme. Makes sense. I don't think we have anything like that over here in the west.

Hi Tommy,
Mate it's a great scheme, pity I didn't manage to get the LRPV over earlier, had I have done I wouldn't need to get a Road worthy. Prior to 1 Feb 2015 it was a check by club veh expert. Unfortunately too many dickheads and dodgy clubs blew it for everyone.
Cheers,
Mick
