Hi MikeI haven't found any holes but believe it should have been in the rear body area where extensive modifications occurred with the camper conversion. The other IDs were on the body, but louvers were installed just below one et of holes to vent the fridge.I do however know that on some variants the plate was affixed to the protruding part at the top of the Land Rover firewall on the engine side (same location as the compliance plate on perenties) which means that the height would have to be around 70mm to 75mm.Assuming that and the dimensions on screen (120mm x 86mm) I would scale the image to 75mm H x 100mm W.Only need one, I believe I have the only SADF F/C Land Rover in Australia.
11mpg sounds pretty good to me Diana!I seem to recall the "Vehicle Operating Instructions" specifying 6mpg on road and 2 mpg off-road for the petrol engine,Cheers Charlie
