12 Pin "NATO" Trailer plug on No.5 trailer
« on: May 12, 2020, 01:35:42 PM »
Hi all,

I'm just renewing the old weathered wiring in a No.5 trailer.

I would appreciate if anyone can let me know how to access the rear of the trailer plug to reach the rear of the pin terminals.

Does the metal section push forward out of the rubber containment? If so does anyone have any tips how to go about this.

thanks - Laurie

Laurie,
Loosen the hose clamp (if fitted), push the cable into the plug, and then using a small flat screwdriver, lever the grey rubber bung out the front of the nato plug.
