Series 3 Ambulance Gumtree N.S.W
(Interesting Statement in Add?)

This was for sale awhile ago and IIRC MasterChief has actually seen the vehicle.  It was an S3 MV (one of 40) which started life as a cab chassis and was then fitted with a suplus 2A Ambo body and used as a Radio Truck. I have some more pics of it somewhere.
some 2A & S3 workshops and trailers

Ha-ha! Thanks Dave.

Yep, project chugging along, and this donkey may go begging. I see the brake master cap appears to off - great for soaking up moisture, and the corrosion on the radiator support isn't promising. Poor old thing.

Matt.

SOLD - $6200! plus 13.5% sales hit, and then 10% GST.

Be interested to see if this increase to 7.5% is passed on to the AFM auctions, where it was 6.0%.
Cheers,  Daryl.

Does the bidding on this look real, considering it's been up a few times now

Or it was an autobid which met the reserve price set by the seller.

But had they met the reserve?

When the seller sets a reserve, buyers can compete with various bids that outbid each other (in increments of small amounts depending on the size of the bid), but once a bid is placed that is higher than the reserve, it not only outbids the other bidders but goes straight to the reserve price, even if this might be thousands higher than the other bidders.

If the Perentie was 49 393 as shown on the windscreen it was a crash damaged FFR. In the gumtree photos it is a GS  so probably what is left over from doing up his other two...
