Well, I had it finished and running early this year. Finally took it for a bush trek in May and it died! Towed it to a mates place some 40km from home where it has been until yesterday - 12 weeks! Had to find the fault and source parts but now it runs like clockwork.
So, some two and a half years after acquiring it I can say it is in working order and about 95% finished!
