UK Wolf PVC canopy on a Perentie?
« on: June 23, 2015, 02:56:39 PM »
I'm lucky enough to be off to the UK for a month (Wimbledon, Open Golf, Airshows, Solihull) and might bring back a Wolf PVC top for my Perentie 110 GS. Anyone know how the Wolf top connects to the top of the windscreen? I've googled some images but they are not of much help. I'm thinking I'll need my local canvas repair joint to mod a few bits. Can you think of any other goodies I should cram into a spare (30kg) bag?

Maybe bring back a set of diff guards, galvanized, DLS ...or Paddocks or.. maybe even from a wrecker.

Do you have to remove the internal roll bar.

I thought the Wolfs were the same height as a perentie?

I am assuming theses hardtops.

They would look great on a perentie - and probably a good market for them in OZ

KLR put a Wolf top onto a Perentie. I think the money to get the roof out here would put a lot of people off. Apparently they don't stack neatly and so take up a large volume which is the defining factor in shipping costs. I'm sure KLR could find another roof if you're interested.

These roofs are not cheap new, a new one including shipping, around $11500.00

Second hand, mostly with damage between $1200/2200

For 11,500 could you buy a hard top from Land Rover?

Yep not far off that for a new genuine hard top.
