Great to see all these Inters together. I hope you guys are all getting ready for the Year of the International at Corowa in March. It would be good to see some earlier Inters as well.
By chance today I came across this film on Youtube, apologies if it has been put on this forum before;

At one point they are measuring the rope pull of an International with a big Leyland 6x6 as an anchor. In the UK we knew these as the Leyland Martian and they had various roles, gun tractor, cargo and recovery vehicle. This one has 'cycle' type front wings, whereas the ones in the British Army had large square ones. I think this could be one of the prototypes and sent to Australia to trial, looking up the number, 88099 I see it was one on its own and disposed of in early 60's.

best regards,

Somewhat ironic watching the introduction to compare the lessons learned and applied as a result of WW2 with the state of our industries and Defence purchasing policies today!
