Reconditioned some years ago and not going to be used due to change of plans.
New rings, bearings and seals.
Turbo reconditioned and balanced.
Camshaft re ground to suit the turbo.
Carburettor comes with engine but not reconditioned.
Engine has not been started since reconditioning.
However special Caterpillar Oil was added to preserve the motor to stop any corrosions internally
The cylinders were not bored due to the good condition and honed only. It has been turned over regular by hand
The motor is in exceptional good condition.
This engine has been rebuilt buy specialist Caterpillar mechanic. and turbo set to suit motor
