Gee, a truckload of Tongans sitting on the roof of your 6x6 is one way to demonstrate the ROPS capacity!

There a pair of photos in the gallery titled 'Australian Army Excercise' on the former Bushdriver editor's website. One features soldiers driving with night vision goggles, the other is in a landing craft. One FFR and a couple of RFSV-esque variants are in the photos.

Buggered if I can extract the images from the website at a reasonable size.

Recently a memoir was released; "After The Blast" by Garth Callender, and I have to see it at the library.

He shares the front cover with a Perentie FFR - he's sitting on the bullbar, in country.

Big version link - the ARN is too mud-covered but it could be xx-950

Must read it.

50-164 FFR at Lone Pine Q
in the yard at the back of the photo are Perentie wagons in their original OD. Dating this pic.. well I visited the Q a few times from around 95-99 as a supplier so its a guess.

48-877 FFR (early on in its life). Photo displayed inside one of the Bandiana Museum display cases. Even standing close to the photo it was impossible to read the other FFR's ARN.
It has a unit marking '510' and in the late 80s that was 18 Tpt based at Randwick.
