I removed the rear seating and storage framework and fitted a stainless steel unistrut frame that now supports a rubber mat covered form ply base,

I now can get a roll out mattress in the back for the weekend trips

Looks good.  Plus you've got the space underneath for a roll out drawer out the back.

Not too much room under there with the lip at the bottom where the catches are but I will find a use for it that's for sure

Hi Garry, did similar to our 6x6 ( Sarge )  here are a couple of pics, maybe give you a few ideas. As Phil B suggested fuel / water tanks and roll out draw as Aussiegregmac suggested.

I like the look of that drawer, might need to cut that bottom lip off the back to give me more room to fit one, my neighbour welds stainless so a water tank could be in order too

Today I went to a car show. All rather boring for the MV enthusiast.

Yesterday, though, I used it for what I bought it for.

This week...

Blinker hassle; bridged the hazard light switch plug. Trying alternative switches this coming week.

Camping disease; went camping at Blue Waterholes, on the Long Plain Road/Track, Kozy National Park.

It was good to finally get there after wanting to go for the last 2 years. I'm wrapped - its a good place (outside of school hols) and it was clean. Brumbys woke us in the wee hours, but otherwise the locals were good too.

Is that a Stage One on the trailer Mick?

Good to hear that it is going to be a project. They are awesome vehicles. Is it a V8 or 4BD? Look forward to hearing about the progress on the AULRO Forum maybe. Series 111 section?
Regards Warrick.
