Tidy, Juddy, tidy!
Will the screen miss it, when folded?

Thats a very good question, not tried it yet until i get the new canvas and do the full strip down again.

This last weekend, the LROC Sydney Branch held a Ladies Off-Road Driver Training weekend. By sheer providence, the Trainer and two trainees were all driving ex-mil 110s!

My girlfriend Clare drove my FFR with the full tilt.

Scored myself a 2.5 ton Fordham jack, albeit from a series 3.   With a little TLC with the buff and a top-up, it's all good.
Now to seek out the rest of the CES.

Good job.

I scored one from a second hand shop that sells mostly clothes.
$60 sorta OK price but never know when the next one will come up.

Must have been like finding a genie in a bottle.
I had to swap a new 4 ton hydraulic for mine .... cost $50 for the 4 ton.   I would have gone to $70, no problem.  And like you said, when's the next unit going to come up.   :)

Cheers,  Daryl.

Feel like a kid with new toys .... I hit the trifector today.
Scored the hardwood jack base block out of the CES today, gratis and a genuine winch cable ... tada, thanks to plumtree.  I was heading down the road of dyneema rope, only because I couldn't find a SWR, when this one popped up on the radar.
And finally $uperCreepAuto reduced the 12v air compressor I wanted, by $80.

Happy camper.   :) :)
Cheers,  Daryl.

8 day trip in the backblocks of WA , went well except for a couple of staked tyres. Both the Perentie and the Cruiser averaged around 10k per litre, they got on well with each other despite the odd sarcastic remark from the drivers.

Very nice stuff. Any waterholes out there or just salt beds?

Very little water Carzee, except for the odd water hole that the pioneers developed by funneling water via rock walls they built on top of rock outcrops. Very clever, however I wouldnt stake my life on that water supply. Yes some huge salt lakes, some dry .Plenty of bird life plus the odd camel, kangaroo etc

What I did today, gave it a wash and clean then went for a short drive.

I had to engage 6wd to back it into it's parking spot.
