I've recently get my hands on an old series 2. Planning on restoring it and just trying to work out it's history. Like most of these landy's of its age it has no paperwork but the identification plate is still attached above the gear stick. I've managed to work out its year (1961) model series 2 and it was a CKD assembled in Sydney. I'm guessing its ex military due to the indicator/side lights positioned vertically and it has the twin fuel tanks but I can't find anything on it in the registry on here. Can anyone with more knowledge help shine a light on its history. Any help would be much appreciated.
