BE PATIENT is my advice.

If you really want a vehicle from disposals just wait.  I can't see the price being sustained unless some overseas buyer with silly money is bidding.

Otherwise just hold your cash, enjoy your Series 1,2 2A or 3 and then buy one in the future for a song.

There's enough Khe Sanh in my collection for a lifetime. ;D

I agree with your comments, I am watching the first auction to sense the frenzy.

The prices are not surprising but we have to remember there is still some 2500 for sale yet.

Question: are they all being sold in Sydney NSW.

All the best

The frenetic pace in which Mr B.L from QLD is bidding on the Land Rovers, it may be a case of buy one off him or wait till next auction. I recon he may get the lot :(

I think that the prices can't be sustained, and these look in good condition, there may well be some bargains in the rougher vehicles that will appear in time I am sure.

Ian and the others are right, it is an initial frenzy, with time will bring more reasonable prices.

As to bits taken off, I doubt that will happen much, more trouble than it is worth.  I think some asbestos removal etc for safety reasons will happen, but that would be about it.

All do seem to be coming out of NSW, chances are they are all probably going into a big warehouse somewhere near where the business is based.  As Sam Kekovich would say, you know it makes sense!

The Personell Carryall would have to be my No.1 pick for a practical vehicle, when ou have a vehicle, but then I also have no money LOL.  Survey vehcles would be nice as well, but an ambulance would be best!

I suppose the Ambulances will go to outback drilling outfits or tourist outfits ..or someone looking for a great "tour Australia" camper conversion. Similar to the old model in that respect.

I expect so, similar for the workshop rovers I expect.  I just hope that A) Bandiana gets an example of each, and B) Collectors get at least some of most variants and C) I win lottery and can afford to get some without the need for a divorce ;)
