I notice that B.L from Rocklea QLD is heading up most of the Land Rover and other vehicle bids. He must be real keen to get them. Anyone know who this may be...dealer perhaps?

With all the ARN numbers showing at the auction, it won't be hard to track the vehicles when they come up for resale from dealers/ebay etc. Everyone will know what was paid for them, which just might, I repeat might, keep resale prices down a little.
I also note the mileage on many of these at the first auction is very low - I wonder if these are the best of the bunch, so that they set a high sell price which others will feel compelled to follow for lesser vehicles.

I did notice that one Stuart, getting the PDF's as well!!

They do look to be testing the waters, it will be interesting to see what they finally go at, but remembering that there are a LOT more to come in the next 5 years or so.

With 2,500 Land Rovers to sell off, I cannot see how the value of these Land Rovers can be sustained. Once the enthusiasts get their own to play with, the dealers will move in and scoop up whats left. Surely supply will outstrip 'genuine' demand. Once genuine demand is exhausted, sellers will flog to 'whoever' at discount prices.

The station wagon has only 8,969 kms on the clock whereas some of the other GS Land Rovers have over 150,000kms.

Sorry about that Richard . I know you have a lot on your books but wasn't sure if you had seen it. Are you logging the ARNs and vehicle information? If you want some help in collecting the photos and info, do not hesitate in asking for help. I am happy to do it for you .

I'm surprised that all auctions finish at the same time (Closes: 27/02/2013 4.45 PM AEDT). This does not give a buyer the chance to bid on another vehicle if he/she misses out on their first choice. Surely a 5 minute stagger would have been more effective and preferred by buyers.

Holy cow Juddy. That post took ages to load (using temp wireless connection at the moment). 234 photos or something like that....stopped counting after the first 41.

Some of these dont look like they even had the engines degreased what happened to the work that was supposed to be done like no tool holders or cam paint damed rumers wrong again

The blood box is at $30,000.  Really what silly money.  should be 20K Max....and the hard top with winds at $17K, come on.....

surprised to see so much stuff left on these vehicles, Pintles, red emergency lights, even the Antenna mounts..
