When I look at the cost to upgrade a perentie to a civie 110
power steering
ABS
aircon
locks
hard top
radio
that all adds up
The only original equipment Land Rover 110/Defender A/C that actually works and allows a passenger to have feet is the one on the current Puma engined ones.  It would cost a lot to retrofit one of those.

REMLR 240.
Perentie FFR 50-422, SIII FFR 30-146, SIIA GunBuggy 112-726, Mk3 Inter 170-437, ex-SADF SIIB/SIII Radio Relay,
Army Trailers: No5 x 2, W/S x 2, PT1-1.2, Horndraulic ATR dog trailer.
Civilian: MY85 RRc HiLine 4.6, MY51 ex-RACQ 80", MY91 Defender/Reynolds Boughton 6x6, MY12 D4 SDV6

Just been perusing the post auction prices and lingering over the RFSV photos ...

Then noticed the RFSV data plate actually has "Perentie" printed on the plate.

http://res0.graysonline.com/handlers/attachmenthandler.ashx?t=sh&id=5921711&filename=Additional+Photos.pdf

Is this unique to the RFSVs? no other 4x4 I have seen actually has Perentie as the official variant name / descriptor.

Always assumed we called them that due to the design project / tender name, thus always in quotes.

Dave.

Have seen that on a number of "specialty" vehicles it still says 110 as the model though :)

6x6 Inf Carrier: 202217 http://www.graysonline.com/lot/0002-7004682/
Can someone help me out. 48-367 is listed in the REMLR ARN database as a carryall but the same vehicle seems to be a 5 door wagon.

Am I confused or is this the term used when a 5 door doesn't have the 24V FFR system?

Anyone remember what it went for at the Greysonline auction?

Carryall is the term applied to both 5 door variants. The Personel Carrier - basically a stripped County - and the Senior Commander, with winch and FFR. One is a Carryall, Personel Carrier; the other a Carryall, Senior Commander.

The link you quoted is still active (as all auction result pages are), showing that it went for $13,109.
