Welcome to the forum Bruce  :)

Still in the M37 club I see!

Congrats on the purchase, the survey units are a nice piece of kit!

there is a nice ffr on greys at mino,it looks like it has been on the rebuild line and they have stoped it,thrown all the bits in the back and sent it to greys.
Looks like it would be a good buy

did any one see what price it went for?

I had put in a couple of bids this round on Darwin vehicles, with the idea that I would take a week off work, fly up and drive back. Nice idea, but didn't win anything.

But tonight, Cyclone Alessia is forecast to hit the Darwin region. Bugger flying into that! Darwin's collection day is Wed, so I hope that people's vehicles are safe that they've paid for, and much more importantly, I hope all the Top End REMLR'ers are safe too.

Good day friends,
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this, Pengelly Truck Sales in Toowoomba are buying Mack tippers at the auctions and sending them to New Guinea. They have already sent one lot and they have another 3 tippers in their yard now. One of the ones in their yard now is just plain olive drab with the old original radial bar treads on, in fact it looks like it has just come out of a museum.
Cheers Ken

Last time I was down there there were stacks of brand new galvanised chassis, all stock for the BAE Systems re-build line.  However that funding has gone so while the ability to repair still exists the funding doesn't.

I know of about three auto factories that will be available shortly!  ::)

Some of those wrecks, seem like a good buy if only for the spares, but I would not want to pay more than 1500 grand for one....
