Some updates from today, as well as others I had not posted here yet.

September

20.092017 - Added today is a fascinating document which is the Technical Description for the Perentie 6x6 produced by Land Rover. Find it now on the Perentie Brochures and Documents page. The Perentie Project page has also been updated with the youtube video of these vehicles produced by Land Rover.

07.09.2017 - The last of the Modern ARN Ledgers have been added to that page. However the 25-35 ledger is incomplete and missing many sections. If you have copies of any of these pages please email them to me at webmaster@remlr.com

August

28.08.2017 - Two more of the Modern ARN Ledgers have been uploaded, only one ARN ledger is not yet online.
24.08.2017 - The first two of the documents found with the Modern ARN Ledgers have been put online, namely the ARN Allocations and the book detailing the vehicle Census codes.
22.08.2017 - The auction recording continues, and I have added a new page of informations to the ARN Index page for the Modern ARN Ledgers. I hope to make available the complete ARN books as well as other related documents in the near future in a similar fashion to the AWM website.

March

08.03.2017 - Ok 2017 and this looks pretty bad but I am back in the seat. I have added another page of User Handbooks (also called Technical Manuals) to the Library page of REMLR. I gave also included the new cover page that will be updated on to all existing files to help point people to REMLR that may not know where it came from. Of course the cataloging of information from the auctions has continued on behind the scenes as well so keep an eye on the ARN listings at they automatically update.

I am catching up with the auctions that I was quite behind with so with the help of David I am getting there.

Also in the 101 range of ARN's I have found a stack of No.5's that have not been recorded yet, as well as a heap of workshop trailers too.  They will be added as soon as I have time.

Supply Shed corrections: North Eastern Truck Wreckers have been closed for many years now, and so has Toole's Disposals store. Landybitz is not in SA

Updates and a new page and new photos!!

Added a page of photos showing 18 LAA Regiment.  http://remlr.com/18LAA.html

Were 18LAA a Reserve unit? Some very dated vehicles for '67-'68: AR150 Inters, No4 trailers with LR hub adapters, US WW2 Bantam trailer.

With the exception of the trailers all of those vehicles were in evidence around Liverpool area in 70/71. The CMF as it was then tended to get hand me downs rather than new vehicles. IMO they were doing well to have F1s (n.b. they are not Mk 5s) and the D400 is a surprise although they were welcome to those.

I sent some photos and info of an RAN Defender to you guys back in 2016.

Did that get missed in your updates?

Not as yet, I have a backlog of work for auctions to 2015 and about 2011 for some other emails due to the volume and family time constraints.  it is still in the queue  as I remember the email ;)

06.08.2018 - The addition of details from the current auctions continues, however today I have added a page that I have overlooked somehow. A record of all vehicles known to have been sent to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. They can be found on the Vietnam War ARN's page or their own page on All Vietnam ARN's

04.10.2018 - The last few days I have updated the User Handbook and Repair Parts Scale pages to include a large number of documents that have been available through the Australian Frontline Machinery website so that they are available here in perpetuity.

112-501 is still missing from the list, it does feature in 2 clips held by the AWM went into Sth Vietnam with 1RAR in June 1965, cheers Dennis ps it is quite possible that 112-501 was the 1st Land Rover to go ashore way back then as it does feature as a 1st in a few scenes LOL
