I posted this update on facebook and forgot to put it here!!!

15.01.2913 - Has it really been that long since an update!!! Ok, time to start to get back into it! A Timeline page has been added to the Fleet Information Index. In time this will chronologically list developments in the Land Rover's history with the Australian Army.

Hi Richard

I have been offered some manheim catalogues from the early 2000's is this something we want to collect?

Also on the Army Inter chapter, some of the trailer variants were specific to the trucks.  Am wondering if we should link the truck trailers from the Army Inter section rather than from the main forum area.

Specifically these would be:
1 ton Humber (pig) trailer
3 Ton Horndraulic (dog) trailer.
3 Ton MGB (pig) trailer
8 Ton Haulmark (dog) trailer
15 Ton Freighter tilt bed (pig) trailer
20 Ton Haulmark Plant trailer.
40 Ton Stecco drop neck semi trailer
70 Ton Float
Others not listed inc Freighter semis etc.

Hello Diana,

Not answering for Richard, but i think we should certainly be collecting the old dasfleet and manheim catalogues, i sent some to Richard a few years back.

On that count you are welcome to answer for me, the auction catalogues can provide a lot of interesting informatio0n, and specific auction dates as the ARN books only list approved for disposal dates normally.

Trailers, maybe we should put a link to the trailers page on the inter chapter, and note on the trailer pages which vehicles or vehicle classes they were intended for.  Trick is  I know little about them!

26.02.2013 - As some of you may have seen, Australian Frontline Machinery has started selling Land Rovers, Trailers, Unimogs, Macks and other vehicles as a part of the Australian Army's replacement of it's current fleet consisting of some 10,000 vehicles and trailers. The Auctions are online at Greys Online, but there are links on the website. We are trying to keep up with the Auctions and update the database with new information as it comes to hand, but it is a lot of work, so please be patient. Also, if anybody wants to buy me a present, I'll have a Hardtop 4x4 Land Rover, then a 6x6 Ambulance, then maybe a 6x6 GS ;)
