RSFV steering clicking sound
« on: April 25, 2020, 08:03:48 PM »
Loud clicking noise when turning sharp right. Jacked the front wheels up. Right front wheel has play top to bottom , left wheel no play.  Brake pedal engaged elimated play. Also a clunk that sound like front uni in first gear.? . Many thanks to Remlr & members for input.

Sounds like you have either a loose rh front wheel bearing or the swivel housing needs reshimming. Any oil leaking from the seal behind the hub? Sounds like a wheel bearing if the application of brakes stops it happening. The clunk is probably from the same thing.
