Ambulance on an interstate car carrier

The transport co is telling me a 6x6 ambulance, is too wide for them to transport. Any one here have any experiences in this regard? Thanks.

I wont fit on a normal car carrier, my Assault Pioneer had to come up to Brisbane on a flat bed
