Rock sliders 6x6
« on: September 10, 2019, 07:39:45 PM »
Hi all.

Does anyone have a pattern for a set of rock sliders to suit a 6x6 Perentie?

I've seen  a few on YouTube that look the goods but trying to get hold of anyone is near impossible.

This fella in the accompanying link seems to have it all sorted....

Gíday Woodie,

I havenít been on here for a long time, and Iím just reading your post about rock sliders.

That 6x6 in the video you linked is built and owned by a fella called Ammo (Steve) Marsh, I think heís on here, but otherwise he is on the Perentie owners Facebook page under the name Ammo Marsh.

He is a very good bloke, and has extremely good fabrication skills too.

He is based at Gloucester, NSW.

G'day Dopey,

Thanks mate but I've now come up with a much less expensive option.

I've made a set of side steps as opposed to rock sliders ot of some heavy old timber.

I know that this sounds more than a bit odd but i had earlier replaced the tray sides with the same timber and it looks the goods.

I certainty can't slide along rocks but they work on and look the goods.

Cheers Woodie
