Mortar Carrier - Free to good home
« on: October 23, 2018, 09:17:49 AM »
I am removing the mortar carrier module from my 6x6. It is in good condition, the canvas is sound but needs a bit of stitching here and there. I have a use for the seats and the 24-12 volt converter, but these are negotiable if someone wants the whole thing complete. It still has all the rear seat belts etc. I would like to see it preserved - not chopped up for bits.

It is free, but the catch is it would need to be collected from Bemboka, on the South coast of NSW in the next week or two at the latest.

Anyone interested?

Cheers, Paul

So, stripped the Haulmark PT2.2 down to the bare bones, and with two railway sleepers to act as a chassis, it was off to collect the Mortar Carrier module.

A big (big) thank you to Notlongnow, and a complete pleasure to meet you and your wife on the day.

With the module only strapped down temporarily to the trailer for transport, it does look good behind the 6x6. Double trouble. I think this might become a new thing, more fun than towing a train of No5 Trailers!

Giving me ideas too, I have put a tray on the back of my Assault Pioneer and was wondering what t do with the rear module, it just so happens that I have a PT2-2 as well. Would sit nice behind the Mog too.
