Canvas Parts Question
« on: October 11, 2018, 04:29:32 PM »
I picked up some military canvas at a farm clearance auction as part of a lot with some digicam I intend to repurpose.  It came with a few bits I have no idea what are.  Is it possible to do a reverse lookup on the parts list?
One canvas cover is a Robco part HYG4184 - it looks new old stock made in Oct 2011 and is possibly a perentie 6x6 jerrican holder cover but is auscam not digicam so is possibly more likely to be from interior of a 6x6 rather than exterior which would be digicam.

There is also a cover that could be to hold fire extinguishers or similar that I am wondering what is.

cheers
David

The second item is fitted in the rear interior of the Bushranger 6x6 Mortar Carrier (perhaps not exclusive to that vehicle). It is not for fire extinguishers, as these are also present but in a clamp fitting. I don't know what they are for, but they are located on the rear wall next to crew seats and would appear to nicely hold a 1.25lt coke bottle or 1.5lt water bottle perhaps?

Is there one or two of these per vehicle?  I have 2, I don't drink coke and probably don't need 4 water bottles as well as the jerry cans of water so might need to come up with another purpose.
cheers

I have no problems with Mt Gale, Havana or something decent but certainly none of the bundy original in my 2, I would like to be patriotic but I don't drink dodgey rum
