New FFR owner

Hi all,

I've had a No5 trailer for a while - kitting it out a bit for camping, it's one of those projects that just never seems to get very far.  Maybe if I used it in the past 2 years I'd find motivation to improve it.

However the reason for joining the site here was because I just won a FFR at the auctions.  It's a 2/89 perentie....  seems ok apart form a small amount of rust in the footwell and it's missing the canvas.  So i'm on the lookout for a decent 2nd hand canvas.  Future outlook for the truck = I want to get into Road boss rallies and want to kit this rig out for that and general camping/4x4 duties. 

Looking forward to getting some good info from every one here.

Shouldn't need to do much to the FFR for a Road boss rally. Good luck with the Road boss rally.

And I made it home with my new FFR!

A couple pics attached.....
1 - picking up the old girl from the auction
2 - trip prepping - included filling the washer bottle and checking a few nuts, which was pretty much all it needed.
3 - a bit of a rest stop along the way home. 

Trip was a little slower than expected even though I sat on 100kph, lots of road works.  No real issues to report from the trip other than a minor leak on the heater hose hopefully tightening the clamp fixed it.  Also pulled the 24v system out.
