pintle hook on 6x6 ambulance
« on: May 07, 2018, 12:14:45 PM »
Hi, does anyone know if a pintle hook can be fitted to a 6x6 ambulance? I'm thinking of buying one and wonder about a mod to add a tow point.
Thanks in advance
Michael

Recently I saw a picture of the back of an Ambulance with the step folded down. There was a cut out around where the bolt holes were.
I suspect, yes.
Here it is folded up:

I'll see if I can find the other picture.

Thanks Mick.

Maybe I should be carted off in it!

Pintle hooks were only removed from ambos to prevent medics/patients tripping over them

As sixty said, there was am emei for it as it was rarely used and hampered access for patients.
