Hello to you all,

Having just purchased Land Rover 110 4X4 FFR 03/1990…Asset Number (ARN): 49899 at the recent auction I thought it a good time to join this great forum.
SA Rego will be ECN-405 as a 'nod' to my former employment.

Pictures to follow.
Cheers
Tim

Welcome Tim, trust your FFR kept you busy over the break. The one you purchased is one familiar to you in your unit perhaps. Got pics?

It is not an FFR I am familiar with, I am yet to get it, still in transit to Adelaide, Prixcar are taking a while.
I do have the keys for it, ready to install door and ignition once it arrives.
Previously I was a 6x6 and Unimog driver in our detachments as we carried lots of gear, but 4x4 is more suitable for my driveway.

The holdup would be easter of course. I wonder what, if any, CES is in your ffr.

With rego in front of you ... Wayne E. said SA initial rego was easy. Others say the insp. want the exhaust outlet to face the rear. It may depend where you get inspected.

My 110 was delivered last week, one set back was a ripped top, see picture. Next problem was no service records....
I contacted Grays who said they had them and posted them to me express post and got them today with great relief.

As for the ripped top, despite delivery guy saying 'it's old, the car is really old' I made sure it was noted and pictures taken.
Now being assessed  by the transport company for a claim...tbc.

Despite that, totally happy I got one!
