gday all

have been a landy fanatic since arrival in aus, back in 82. this is my third military landy that i have owned and it's a FFR arn 49117. it's a 2/1989 model, did not come with a book but has military police on it and a 42 with a spartan head on both doors. any help in idenififying it? plus i have just an #5 trailer to deck out with the camping gear. it's arn is176406 and was built in 69, don't know if it was out of country or not but trying to find out, any help? the first ex-mil. landy was a series 2 from the sas in perth , it was a shorty soft top and the second was a series 3 FFR did not know the arn for that one. i have had landys the whole time i have made aus my home and will continue to do so. even the ball&chain likes the perentie as its so easy on the back, moreso than the leafers, but will always have a soft spot for the shortys. both the series's i have rebuilt from the ground up, the series 2 was rebuilt and the maiden run was to perth for the 65 annaverserary. might take the perentie up for the 70th. if so hope to see you all there, well the ones from WA that is.m  cheers wally

Welcome to REMLR Wally. Sounds like you have a load of experience with landies and I know you'll have taken some photos of those restorations - we love to see those.I hope we can help with some info.

A large quantity of 176-4xx trailers were sent to Singapore in 1970 as part of the ANZUK force.

G'day Wally
I believe I saw your Perentie at the shops in Collie last time I passed through, unfortunately I wasn't driving my RFSV.
Nice pickup, hopefully I will bump into it again when down that way.
Cheers David
