Overseas Deployment
« on: November 19, 2017, 09:58:35 AM »
When I first purchased one of my No.5 trailers ARN 154954, from Brisbane June 2014 auctions, it had yellow sticky tape with    "Hold Quarantine" attached to all four sides. It was the only trailer in that auction and I think had been included as a late entry to the auction, as it still had the original army number plate with the trailer. There was no service book.

Would this "Hold Quarantine" tape indicate that it had just been returned from overseas deployment and then come straight to the auctions after undergoing quarantine inspection? If so, I'd be interested to find out where it may have been deployed to. The only other marking on it was a Xmas tree with 5974 at the top. I have now repainted the trailer.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jon
