Trailer lights assistance. (Sorted)
« on: September 23, 2017, 07:13:48 PM »
Evening all,
So, I pulled the NATO plug on my Cook's trailer apart to fix a faulty indicator. All good now however....
The number plate lights no longer work,  I thought they were off the tail lights ( which are fine).  Wire #5 goes to the number plate lights and should be in hole E, Which was done, still no number plate lights.

Any suggestions.
Plus , any tips on soldering the wires to the pins? I am struggling to get them to hold. The originals look to be held in by something else.

Edited 22Oct17....After speaking with a sparkie, turns out that the soldering iron I was using (for circuit boards) was not putting out enough heat. Went and bought a 60 Watt one and all is now gtg. All back together and serv.
I hope this helps someone else one day.
TIA

Phil
