No forward drive

hi all.

After a stop at a set of lights I went to go on and there was a large clunk and I now have no forward motion of the 110.  If I pull the Control Knob out on the dash the gearbox engages and it is drivable, just nothing in standard driving mode.   Any help or thoughts on what might be broken.

Front CV joint.

Chock rear wheels front and back.  Engage neutral in transfer box CDL disengaged. Jack up one front wheel and rotate wheel while watching if front  prop shaft turns.

If the prop shaft doesn't turn either CV, halfshaft or diff is broken.  Most likely CV.

There may be grinding noised in swivel with broken CV.

I have done all the wheel turning tests and the back is fine, neither front wheel turns the prop shaft so something is amiss in the front.

Taking it to a Landrover guy tomorrow to see if he can work out where the problem is. He seems to think a CV but there is no grinding noise so who knows....... hopefully an answer tomorrow.

Broken half shaft on the drivers side. It probably was fractured when the Army still had it as I haven't done anything to damage it. It was broken at the diff end. There was some spine damage on the other half shaft so replaced that as well.

CV's were ok but opted to replace them while it was all pulled down. All replaced with heavy duty parts.

Repair was around $2700.
