Keep up the good work Mike C.
Your the only one that has put out good books and hope you do many more, the 25 pdr, m113 mud and dust. I just wish there were more, and the one on !st Armoured Regiment, would love a book on land rovers in the Australian Army, it would be a big book.

My wife says I love military Vehicles more than her. and can not argue with that.

It was originally assigned to the school of sigs in 65.
I wonder if a sig unit took it to Vietnam and it was loaned to 17 construction sqn for several months. In 71 it was back with the school of sigs.

Shorty,

It was probably returned to the vehicle platoon at 32 Supply from the Sch of Sig's, sent to 'nam then returned to the same vehicle platoon on RTA then in turn reissued to the Sch of Sig's.

Just my take ????

Cheers,

Mick

154709 & 173328: neither of these trailers are on my list of those that were deployed to SVN.

154709 was at the School of Signals in the early 1990s, and 173328 was at the School of Infantry in the same period.

At the tail end of this RAAF serviceman's SVN footage is a beach club scene --and a friend is under the front taps of a Number 5 trailer, very likely rinsing off the sea water.
